Insight
“The world feels heavy. I still care – but caring feels exhausting. Giving feels like something I should do, not something I want to do.”
In a world of constant bad news and endless asks, generosity hasn’t disappeared – it’s just become emotionally taxing.
Comic Relief’s challenge wasn’t relevance. It was resonance.
People hadn’t stopped caring – they’d stopped feeling good about caring.
At the same time, behaviour had fundamentally shifted.
Giving had moved from shared, national TV moments to fragmented, fast-moving digital feeds – where attention is fleeting, and participation is individual.

Creative Springboard – Make Giving Feel Good Again

- Share by share
- Smile by smile
